Konstantinos Lytos is a Civil Engineer and Delay Analyst with over 10 years’ experience in the design, management, and forensic delay analysis of construction projects. He has worked on major and iconic projects throughout the UK, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East including residential & commercial buildings, infrastructure projects, pipeline projects, hospitals, airports, process plants and shipbuilding projects.
Konstantinos specializes in delivering services in the field of delay and disruption analysis and has assisted in the preparation of numerous expert reports for the purposes of arbitrations and adjudications. He is highly regarded by clients due to his attention to detail and his ability to draft clear reports. Prior to joining Delta, he worked as a Director at HKA.
- Performed a delay analysis to identify the causes and extent of critical delay incurred during the expansion of an oil production facility in Abu Dhabi. Assisted the appointed delay expert during the course of arbitration proceedings. Prepared and drafted the delay expert reports.
- Conducted a delay analysis to identify the causes and extent of critical delay experienced on a new office building complex in Bucharest, Romania. Assisted the appointed delay expert during the course of arbitration proceedings. Prepared and drafted the delay expert report.
- Conducted an analysis on the causes of critical delay and the loss of productivity and disruption experienced on a wax production facility in South Africa. Assisted the appointed delay expert during the course of arbitration proceedings. Prepared and drafted the delay and disruption expert report.
- Advised a shipbuilding Contractor in relation to delays incurred in the design and construction of a passenger cruise ship in Italy. Responsible for preparing and issuing a delay report to the client analysing the causes of critical delay.
- Conducted a delay analysis to identify the causes of critical delay experienced on a new 850 villa residential development in Dubai. Assisted the appointed delay expert in an ad hoc arbitration. Prepared and drafted the delay expert reports.
- Performed an analysis to identify the critical path and causes of critical delay experienced on a 300km-long water conveyance pipeline and the associated wellfield located in the Middle East. Drafted parts of the delay expert report during the course of arbitration proceedings.
- Performed a delay analysis to identify the extent and causes of critical delay incurred on the electrical works of a biomass-powered energy plant in the UK. Assisted the appointed delay expert during the course of arbitration proceedings. Prepared and drafted the delay expert report.
- Conducted a delay analysis to identify the critical path and the causes of critical delay incurred during the construction of a new LNG terminal in Poland. Assisted the appointed delay expert in drafting the delay expert report as part of arbitration proceedings.
