Delta Consulting Group Senior Director Martin Hicks will speak at DWF’s Construction Conference: Licence to Build, taking place November 3 in London.
The annual conference will bring together construction industry and legal professionals to examine the legal, commercial and strategic challenges shaping the industry, with discussions covering complex claims, corporate liability, AI governance and project delivery.
Martin will join the panel “Dr No Entitlement,” which will explore issues surrounding the prevention principle, extensions of time, liquidated damages, causation and concurrent delay. The discussion will consider how an employer’s actions can affect its ability to rely on contractual liquidated damages provisions in the context of modern extension-of-time mechanisms, notice requirements and concurrency clauses.
The conference will take place at DWF’s London office at 20 Fenchurch St., followed by a drinks reception.
