DESCRIPTION:Delta Consulting Group Vice President Cory Milburn and Managing Director Drew Olson will lead the Lexology masterclass “Builder’s Risk Claims: Managing Delay\, Damage and Financial Exposure” on Nov. 3\, 2026. The online session will examine the construction\, scheduling\, insurance and financial issues that can shape builder’s risk claims from initial response through resolution. \nREGISTER HERE \nThe program will explore what happens immediately after a loss\, including documentation\, cost tracking\, evidence preservation and coordination among project\, insurance and legal teams. Cory and Drew will also discuss causation and schedule impacts\, critical path analysis\, pre-existing and concurrent delays\, mitigation efforts and the evaluation of extended costs\, acceleration\, expediting costs\, soft costs and delayed revenue. \nDrawing on their experience with complex construction losses\, Cory and Drew will provide practical insight into developing a defensible claim by connecting contemporaneous project records\, schedule analysis and financial evidence to the claimed loss. The discussion will also address issues that can lead to disputes\, including competing interpretations of project conditions\, mitigation efforts and the extent of covered loss.
