Hosted by RICS in Portugal\, the event marks the 50th anniversary of the RICS Dispute Resolution Service\, which has supported alternative dispute resolution and professional development in the built environment since 1976. \nÓscar will participate in the panel discussion\, “Shaping the Future of Construction Dispute Resolution – 50 Years of RICS DRS\,” from 10:10 to 11:45 a.m. Moderated by Bruno Matos\, Chair of RICS Portugal MEG\, the panel will bring together representatives from RICS\, the legal profession and the construction industry to explore the evolving landscape of construction disputes in Portugal\, Spain and internationally. \nThe discussion will examine how dispute resolution and conflict avoidance can strengthen investment\, resilience and market confidence in the construction sector. Panelists will also address legal and regulatory challenges\, the growing role of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms\, digitalization\, sustainability and international standards.
